Parker's general purpose open loop piston pump, the P1 and PD series is Parker’s go-to line for mobile and industrial applications. With seven displacements available. P1 is designed for mobile applications while PD is designed for industrial applications. Medium pressure (4000 psi continuous) with options for electronic pressure and flow control. It also has an overcenter option. The Parker P1 series is designed for open-circuit mobile applications like backhoes, fire trucks, and construction equipment, whereas the Parker PD series is built for industrial applications such as power units, pressing, and industrial molding. While both pumps share identical technical specifications and features, they target completely different operating environments and specific machinery types.
