P2105 Troubleshooting: What Does Burnt Oil Do to your Pump?

In this video we were sent a p2105 for a repair. Upon opening it up we immediately noticed burnt oil just by the color of it. The burnt oil cause varnishing through the entire pump. Multiple parts showed premature wear and were deemed unusable. When he gets to the piston they are all seized (besides 1), the shoes could not move. This is something we haven't seen before but we think it was a reaction to heat.
