Modifying a Pump using Custom Linde Tools (Linde HPV 55)
A customer requested a new Linde HPV 55. They sent us the model code and we sent what we had that matched the code exactly. What we didn't know was that their previous pump has been modified and the tag information was not updated. They needed these two ports on the end cover that their previous one had already. Because its a pretty straightforward addition we told them to send it back and we added the ports ourself. Also in this video we use a Linde issued tool that we have never used on the channel. Its called the Linde Universal tool, and its purpose is to properly measure parts. Once the ports were added in our machine shop, Lloyd took the air gun and blew air through them to make sure nothing was clogging them. Once it was all put back together Lloyd and Andres head to the test bench to wrap it all up.
