Linde HPR 135 Troubleshooting: Why is this Pump going Over Pressure?

This video was a little bit of a tricky one! The customer set this pump in because the unit was going over pressure to 6500 psi when it should be around 3000-3400 psi. Our mechanic Trent did a breakdown and found some burnt oil upon opening, most likely from heat. Check out our post on this video here: https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxCZE-_YIpBr7RydlqxenqCRTwj4CX2nTh He also discovered some gouges and scratches on the piston shoes and swash plate. This was a result of contamination though we don't actually see it, when there's contamination- all bets are off. Fraser pops in and explains things further such as, the control and explained why this pump could be going over pressure.
