The Chelsea 892 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) is a hydraulic hot shift unit designed for Allison 4700 transmissions, delivering exceptional performance with industry-leading torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft. Engineered for tight packaging requirements, it improves chassis clearance by fitting between the transmission and frame rail while positioning the pump output toward the rear for optimal space utilization. Designed as a fully integrated unit rather than an extension-style PTO, the 892 Series features a one-piece main shaft that eliminates intermediate input splines between the PTO and output section. This design enhances strength, reduces wear points, and improves long-term durability. A rear-mounted clutch allows the housing and gear assembly to sit tightly against the transmission, further optimizing installation clearance. The output incorporates Wet Spline Technology, helping extend PTO and pump shaft life in high-load, continuous-duty applications. The 892 Series is available for transmissions equipped with or without coolers, retarders, or both, providing flexibility across a wide range of configurations.
