880 Series

The Chelsea 880 Series 8-Bolt Power Take-Off (PTO) is a heavy-duty solution designed for demanding vocational applications such as bulk haulers, blowers, fire trucks, oil field equipment, utility and generator systems, and large recovery or tow trucks. Built for both high- and low-speed operation, it is well suited for high-torque requirements and features constant mesh input gearing for reliable performance under load. Compatible with a wide range of transmissions, including Eaton Endurant systems, the 880 Series offers flexibility across multiple vehicle platforms. It is available with either a standard lever shift control or an optional air shift system, allowing adaptation to different installation preferences and operating conditions. Engineered for durability, the unit features a rugged cast iron housing and tapered cone bearings that provide strong load-carrying capability and long service life. A removable shift cover simplifies backlash adjustment, improving installation accuracy and reducing setup time. The PTO is configured as an 8-bolt, 10-spline unit with a 1-1/2"-10 spline heavy-duty output shaft and is rated for up to 500 lb-ft of torque in intermittent service. The Chelsea 880 Series also includes dual-pump output capability, allowing pumps to be mounted on both ends of the PTO for increased system flexibility. Common applications include bulk hauling, winch systems, fire and rescue trucks, oil field operations, aerial equipment, and large truck recovery vehicles. The 880 Series is built for reliability in some of the toughest operating environments.
