The Chelsea 348 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) is designed for rugged forward and reverse applications where reliability and efficiency are essential. Built with an 8-bolt mounting flange, it eliminates the need for an adapter plate when installing on compatible transmission openings, simplifying setup and reducing installation complexity. This economical yet durable PTO features a cast iron housing and heavy-duty ball bearing output support, helping deliver improved torque capacity and extended service life in demanding mobile environments. Chelsea was among the first to introduce air-shifted forward and reverse PTO technology, setting an industry benchmark for performance and adaptability. Its flexible air-shift system allows the shift cylinder to be positioned for optimal clearance during installation.
